v2.0.2 Release Notes

Daylife Select 2.0.2 introduces new features that empower publishers to have greater curatorial control over the content on their Daylife site. We have also fixed several issues found in Daylife Select 2.0.1. As always, please send us your feedback.

New Features:

• Content Filters. Editors can remove any individual content element from any page (articles, photos, quotations, YouTube videos, Twitter Tweets).

  Simply mouse over the content item you wish to delete, and you’ll see a ‘remove’ icon prompting you to remove the item from the page. Clicking on this icon removes the corresponding content item from the page on the live version of your site automatically.

  You can undo this action by clicking the ‘undo’ icon . Click the ‘Publish Live’ button to see the content removed from the page on your live site.

  

• Help Wizard. There is now a Help Wizard inside Daylife Select that features top customer questions and includes tips, hints, and step-by-step instructions for common tasks:

  Managing your Daylife sites How to set up a custom domain How to change the appearance of your site using the Appearance Editor Page and module editing How to build custom pages How to apply various content filters (topic filters and source filters) How to edit page meta tags to optimize your site for search engines How to add your own ad code to your Daylife site How to integrate your Daylife site with your own site using SmartContext Page Templates Modules

Resolved Issues:

• Fixed several customization and usability issues with Custom Pages.
• Added metatags to Custom Pages.
• Enhancements to ‘Welcome Back’ palette and more deep-link paths into the Daylife Select Customization Wizard.
• Fixed several usability issues with source filters.
